Annie Parker is a startup ecosystem and community leader having built multiple startup programs around the world for brands like Microsoft, Telefonica and Telstra.

A passionate believer in the importance of paying everything forward, an active coach and mentor who loves helping founders achieve their full potential. Recognised by the Australian Financial Review as one of the 100 Women of Influence in Australia for 2018, and winner of Most Progressive Workplace leader by Talent Unleashed in 2017.
Joined the Greater Sydney Commission in Dec 2021 to lead the establishment and curation of Sydney and Australia’s largest tech innovation hub Tech Central https://www.tc.sydney
Prior to Tech Central, she was a senior leader in Microsoft’s Global Startups team leading all Equity and Inclusion and Social Impact partnerships and programs around the world.
Also built and led Telstra’s startup program Muru-D and was Head of Ops for Telefonica’s startup program Wayra in Europe.

A firm believer in the importance of paying everything forward, Annie also supports programs that grow the broader startup community. In 2014 she co-founded Code Club Australia which teaches kids coding skills. In 2015 she co-founded Techfugees Australia a program connecting the technology ecosystem together with newly arrived refugees to help solve problems they face.
